RTIA Regional Seminar on Teacher Professional Development

Under the Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa (RTIA), Dakar will host a regional seminar under organised by APEFE in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Senegal. The event will bring together key stakeholders from Benin, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal and international partners. It will showcase the outcomes of a collective learning process initiated in 2025, highlighting knowledge products, good practices and lessons learned from teacher training programmes. Through experience-sharing sessions, panel discussions and field visits, participants will strengthen regional cooperation, foster innovation in teacher professional development, and promote evidence-based approaches to improve education systems across Africa.
