Briefing session with UNESCO Member States on the TTF Strategic Plan 2026–2029

UNESCO, as host of the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030 (Teacher Task Force), will convene an in-person information session for Member States on 29 June 2026 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.

The session will present the Teacher Task Force's new 2026–2029 Strategic Plan, which sets out the network's vision, priorities and areas of work for the coming four years. Participants will also reflect on nearly two decades of global collaboration to strengthen the teaching profession, support teacher policy development and implementation, and address teacher shortages worldwide.

The event will bring together Member States and education stakeholders to discuss the role of teachers in achieving SDG 4 and building resilient, inclusive and future-ready education systems.
